Your 2024 Impact Reports

Impact Report Instructions

An impact report describes why your efforts and outcomes are relevant and important, and what difference they are making. It answers the questions:

  • Why does this matter?
  • How is it making a difference?
  • Who or what is being affected?

The Impact Report should succinctly describe an achievement, contribution or something you are working on that you are particularly proud of or excited about because of its impact. Impact Reports will inform annual evaluation and be elevated to help tell the story of IANR impact. See guidance for writing about impact at https://ianr.unl.edu/impact-report-guidelines .

Submit one Impact Report for each area of your apportionment, or, if the activity/achievement cuts across multiple apportionment areas, you may submit one Impact Report to describe that activity/achievement and its impact. However, it must be clear that there is impact in each area of your apportionment.

Using the text box below, identify a brief title for your Impact Report that describes what it is about. Examples include:

  • “Decreasing Food Waste at Harvest”
  • “Soil Health Networks”
  • “Latino Small Business Program”
  • “Poultry Education for Youth and Adult Learners”
  • “Mitigating the Impacts of Agrochemicals”
  • “Managing Soybean Diseases”
  • “Increasing Student Engagement through Experiential Learning”

Using the check boxes, indicate which apportionment area this Impact Report pertains to. If it describes something that cuts across multiple apportionment area check the box for “Combined”. If it applies to only one apportionment area, you must submit another Impact Report pertaining to your other apportionment area(s).
